  10. Final Disposition of A/C: On a mission to Magdeberg, Gr. on 28 Sep 1944, The Lodian was hit by flak and crashed in Germany. All 10 of the Russell C. Conrow Crew became POW's, MACR 9832. The Lodian was destroyed. It had flown 40 missions previous to this date. “
